Catawba Attachments Shines at the Southern Farm Show in Raleigh — Southern Farm Show Raleigh 2026

The 2026 Southern Farm Show in Raleigh gave us a chance to do one of our favorite things: get out from behind the shop and spend some time talking with the people who actually use this kind of equipment.
The fairgrounds stayed busy, and people kept stopping by the booth with questions about what they were working on. Some compared attachments, others wanted to talk through a problem they had back home, and a few just stopped by to visit. Those were the talks we remembered most from the show.
Our Customers Make It Worth It

.
Those conversations are a big reason we enjoy going to shows like this. You hear what people are working on, what has been giving them trouble, and what they wish their equipment did a little better.
John spent plenty of time making the rounds too.
He talked with other vendors and customers about mounting systems, materials, custom setups, and smaller design choices that can make a big difference once an attachment is put to work.
That kind of conversation is right in his wheelhouse. He has spent enough time around equipment to know that what looks good sitting still does not always tell you how something will hold up in the field.
A lot of the questions ended up turning into longer conversations, which is usually how we like it.

Cody spent much of the show talking with people about the Catawba 55 Rake Grapple and the Land Leveler 3-Point & SSQA Combo.
Some people wanted to know about tine spacing. Others had questions about maintenance, mounting, or how the attachments would handle the kind of work they do back home. That gave us a chance to get past the sales talk and actually discuss tractors, property conditions, and what people were trying to accomplish.

Highlights from the Booth
- The 55 Rake Grapple drew plenty of interest. Seeing one up close gave visitors a better chance to look at the tine layout, construction, and the way the grapple is put together. If you missed it at the show, more background is in Why We Built the Catawba 55 Root Rake Grapple.
- The Land Leveler delivered its own set of questions. People wanted to know regarding grading, mounting choices, wear parts, and where the tool fits compared with other driveway and ground-maintenance attachments. More information is available on the Land Leveler page.
- We also spent a fair amount of time talking about maintenance and troubleshooting. Sometimes the useful part of a farm show is not a big product demonstration. It is somebody asking about a problem they have been fighting at home and getting a few ideas to try when they get back.
- Fitment came up quite a bit too. Tractor model, hitch setup, hydraulic connections, and mounting style all matter, so having that information handy makes those conversations much easier.
A Few Questions We Heard More Than Once
Rock work and tine spacing came up several times.
There is not one spacing that is perfect for every job. Someone cleaning brush and roots may be looking for something different than somebody dealing with rock or surface cleanup. We talked through those differences at the booth and pointed people toward our rake options when they wanted to dig into it further.
You can read more in Unleashing the Power of the Catawba Attachments Rake Grapple Lineup.
Mounting was another common topic.
Knowing the tractor make and model is a good start, but hitch style and hydraulic setup matter too. With grapples in particular, knowing what is already on the tractor can save a lot of guessing about SSQA and third-function needs.
Maintenance questions were easy. Check the parts that take the abuse, keep up with routine service, and do not wait until something is badly worn before looking at it. Wear shoes, tines, and other replacement parts are easier to deal with before they turn into downtime.
If You Missed the Show
You can still dig into the equipment we had on display.
The Land Leveler page has more information on the attachment and available options.
For the grapple, Why We Built the Catawba 55 Root Rake Grapple gives some background on the thinking behind it and the kind of work it was built to handle.
You can also look through the full rake grapple lineup if you are trying to decide which setup makes the most sense for your tractor and the work you have planned.
If you would rather talk it through, message us on Facebook. Let us know what tractor you have and what you are trying to do with it. A model number and a couple of details about the job can get the conversation headed in the right direction.cal dealer information.
Having Fun At The Show
We appreciate everyone who stopped by the booth at the Southern Farm Show.
Some people came by to look at equipment. Some had questions. Others just stopped to talk for a while, and we enjoyed all of it.
Getting the 55 Rake Grapple, Land Leveler 3-Point & SSQA Combo, and the rest of the Catawba lineup in front of people is always useful, but hearing directly from farmers, contractors, and property owners is just as valuable.
Thanks to the Southern Farm Show for having us, and thanks to everybody who took the time to stop by. We had a good time in Raleigh, and we came home with plenty to talk about back at the shop
