The Catawba 3 Point Plugger Core Aerator is a tractor-mounted core aerator built for lawn aeration, pasture care, compacted soil relief, drainage improvement, and soil preparation. Instead of only poking holes in the ground, the heat-treated coring tines remove plugs from the soil so air, water, and nutrients can move deeper into the root zone.
Use this 3 point aerator when you need to open compacted turf, recover thin lawn areas, improve pasture health, or prepare ground before overseeding. Available in 4 ft, 5 ft, 6 ft, and 7 ft widths, it is Cat 1 quick hitch compatible, with Cat 2 quick hitch compatibility on the 6 ft and 7 ft models.
The fillable 13 inch drum adds weight when more tine penetration is needed, while the heavy frame, 4-bolt flange bearings, flip-down stands, and USA-made 3/4 inch heat-treated coring tines give this tractor core aerator the build quality needed for repeated property, pasture, and turf work.

I am very pleased with my 7’ core plug aerator. Quality is top notch! I will definitely consider this company in the future for any implement needs.Cody Leblanc
Aerator: Arrived in good condition. Very well built and sturdy. We filled the drum with water and did not have to add anymore weight to the implement. It worked like a charm! It works well at a high speed. We managed to get all of our pastures done before we fertilized. Money well spent! Recommended!Scott Pendleton

I bought the 5’ 3 point plug aerator. This thing is amazing. I aerated a football fiend that had been neglected for many years. I added water to the drum and concrete blocks for weight and the spoons went 4-5 inches in some severely hard ground. It’s well built and is easily maintainable. I would definitely recommend.Steve Partin
Use the Catawba 3 Point Plugger Core Aerator to remove small cores from compacted turf so air, water, and nutrients can move deeper into the root zone.
The plugger aerator is built for relieving soil compaction caused by equipment, foot traffic, livestock, and routine property use.
Use this tractor core aerator on pastures, fields, and rural grass areas where stronger root growth and better water movement are needed.
Core aeration opens channels in the soil profile so fertilizer, lime, rainwater, and irrigation can reach the root system more effectively.
By pulling cores from the soil, the aerator helps reduce surface thatch and encourages healthier turf recovery over time.
Use the plugger core aerator before overseeding to improve seed-to-soil contact and help new grass establish in compacted lawn or pasture areas.
Compare Catawba tractor soil preparation attachments for aeration, seedbed preparation, soil pulverizing, compaction relief, seed-to-soil contact, food plots, pasture work, and lawn renovation.
