I ordered the 55 grapple and 3rd function valve and everything showed up within a week. The grapple and valve fit on my Kubota 2501 with no problems. The grapple is extremely well built and heavy duty.
This grapple was one of those purchases that I was really pleased with the quality and thought that went into the unit. The made in the USA shows, well done guys!!

This thing is built like a tank yet, light weight. Perfect for my B2601 tractor. I'm pretty confident that the tractor would break before this thing would. This is right at the top in quality if not better then with the E/A's. The big difference is this one is more affordable. Ordering is super easy, shipping is super-fast & free, who don't like free shipping? Mine was at my terminal in 2 days. One of the things that I really liked was they have their products in stock. You don't have to wait months for the one you order to be built! I don't do a lot of reviews, only when something is very good or very bad, this thing is an awesome product and if you're looking for a grapple this one is worth every penny.

I purchased this grapple after shopping for a well made, light weight, functional grapple for over a month.

As a welder and fabricator for almost twenty five years, I can appreciate the time and effort that goes into a quality product. I did a lot of research online but ultimately purchased the Catawba 55”. I would have given it 5 stars but the paint wasn’t completely dry before it was strapped down to the pallet.

Well packaged for shipment. Third valve attachments were perfect. Had it mounted and moving brush in 20 minutes!! Great product!!

I just received my 55” grapple. It took less than a week from the time I ordered it to when it arrived including the weekend. My first impression was wow better than I expected!! I have not yet put it to work but soon will and I don’t anticipate any issues. I don’t have a ton of experience with grapples but what I can say is based on the research that I’ve done (it was a lot) and the type of work I plan to do with it Catawba is a 5 star grapple in my opinion.

Note, I don’t normally write reviews unless my expectations have been exceeded. So far this has been a great experience.

Thrilled with this purchase. It replaced a land pride 54 inch grapple that was absolutely thrashed after 2 years and 200 hours of clearing a heavily wooded and rocky property. The land pride kept having the lower tines bend and even after reinforcing them with heavy schedule 80 pipe and gussets, it continued to break, this time in the frame structure. And with smooth tines, it would not grab anything. The Catawba? AWESOME!I have used it for 20 hours now grabbing rocks, logs, brush, anything at all. It grabs and will not let go! Rocks hidden under the soil while grabbing logs? No issues, it grabs them at the same time! No bent tines, no broken frames! Fantastic product! Stands up nicely when not on the tractor too for easy on and off. The hoses came with swivel fittings and anti abrasion wrap, it showed up within the week wrapped up on a pallet, even got a new hat out of the deal! I will be buying more implements in the future from Catawba! Fantastic company and the customer service is on point!

I purchased the 55 Rake Grapple. I received excellent service from the first time I called thru delivery. The unit was packed well and shipped quickly. It has done all that I was told it would do. I have been able to pull trees with a 4 inch trunk out of the ground, rake up scrub brush and pick foundation block out of an old barn.

I was concerned about weather the grapple would perform, as my son-in-law has had 2 other brands that were under performers. The 3 hinge points keep the lid from twisting when you grab uneven loads. the reinforced tines have no problem digging in. And the serrated bars on top and bottom grab and hold on, enabling you to do your work faster. The hoses come out of the center and there is plenty of length. The way they ship it, shows you w neat and safe way to store the hoses when it is stored.

I have no problems giving both the grapple and company a resounding 10 out of 10. My wife was skeptical about my purchase until she saw the work it could do, and how easy and fast it was for me to do the work. In my opinion it is worth every penny.

Very high quality. Had one loose hydraulic fitting on cylinder tightened it up and good to go.

i ordered a grapple for my john deere 4044m. it was off the truck at my place the next day. these folks are so helpful. If you look at how their product is made, compared to others, your decision is clear.

I wish I had done better research before getting an inferior grapple in my new tractor package. After being very disappointed in that one, I took a closer look at Catawba's 55 and I can see I should have gone this way from the beginning. Once it showed up it was even more impressive. The welds, rigidity, serrations/grip surfaces, and opening width are even better than researched. This thing is built to perfection, and still remains light enough not to take up too much lift capacity. I really like that there are 3 greaseable hinge points, and how well the lines and cylinders are protected too. I've never seen this quality at this price point before, not even close. After doing my first couple jobs with it I am thoroughly satisfied and impressed! This company has earned a loyal customer for sure.

This Grapple is so much more beefy than the Land Pride that Kubota promotes, and about $1,300 cheaper. I have several attachments from these guys and they are my first source when looking. Stand up company that cares about it's customers. The day after Helene destroyed much of the southeast, they offered free shipping within 1,000 miles and $250 off their products. I ordered Monday AM and the grapple was at my warehouse in Augusta Ga on Wednesday afternoon. Great American Company!

Construction and materials used are excellent! I’m extremely pleased so far! I highly recommend this grapple and will certainly order from them again!

Cody was professional and responsive to all my questions. My grapple showed up at my shipping terminal on the third day after my order undamaged and very well packed. My only problem was with the hydraulic hook up. I installed a Kubota factory third function valve on my tractor and the fittings at the connect point were different sizes. At the risk of losing my religion I'll not talk about hydraulic fitting identification. A couple of adapters solved the problem and had me up and running. Someone with a little more knowledge about hydraulic fittings would not have had this issue.
I'm in love with this attachment! You can't tell by looking at me but I'm not 75 anymore and in order for me to continue to be able to maintain this property I'm relying on hydraulic muscle more and more, this grapple is a huge help...... Did I say I love this grapple?
The grapple itself is the best design of all the grapples I researched. Can't recommend it enough.

I ordered the 55 inch grapple. The grapple is way better than I expected and is built very well. I have used it for almost 12 hours so far and I am very impressed with my purchase. I had a 55 inch grapple before and this one is better in many ways than my other one. Customer service was second to none, shipping was faster than quoted and arrived in good shape. We needed a grapple and soon for a job we had scheduled. After comparing the build quality and weight we were sure this would be the best choice. It was also the best price and free shipping made this an easy decision for us. This is a well built grapple. Fully welded and reinforced where it should be. I ordered this on a weekend and Monday morning I got a call to find out when I would be able to take delivery of the 55 rake grapple. The nearest shipping depot was about an hour drive from us so they arranged to have it shipped to my address. I was not expecting that and I am very thankful to you. It was delivered in less than a week. The grapple was ready to go as soon as we cut the straps. We put it on our 3301 Kubota that day and have used it to haul limbs, logs, huge stumps and yard waste with great results. This tool is the most labor saving attachment I have. Thank you again

I had been on the fence about ordering a grapple to help maintain approximately 50 acres of old farmland. After much debate and online research I decided to order the 55" grapple from Catawba. I emailed them with a question about shipping and had a response the same day. I then placed the order on a Saturday and the grapple arrived at the freight terminal for me to pick up on Wednesday. It was packaged well and I am very pleased with the workmanship on the unit. (They even included a hat for my bald head). I installed the unit and gave it a test consolidating some brush piles and logs that I will burn come winter. All I can say is wow, the thing exceeded my expectations and wish I had bought it sooner. I would not hesitate to purchase equipment from them in the future as their communication and workmanship is top notch!

This grapple 55 is such a useful tool having the ability to rake makes this grapple so versatile by picking up huge logs down to piles of leave but yet strong enough to root rake. Well built and well engineered to last you years to come. I use it with my Kabota l2501 and works great.

After a ton of research I pulled the trigger on this grapple and I’m glad I did. Well built grapple for the money. Have used it to clear fire lanes, move brush piles, and pick logs. Has stood up well thus far and would highly recommend to anyone in the market for a grapple. Put on a 42hp tractor with no issues.

I purchased a 55 rake grapple bucket. Solid grapple with awesome customer service. Cody has been super helpful from the start to the end. After realizing I selected the wrong fitting he has helped figure out what I need and also mailing it to me. Grapple got to my nearest shipping yard with in 2 days of ordering also!

Grapple operates smoothly, opens wide, top lid is great for raking. Minimizes handwork when cleaning up brush. Also used the top lid to rake dirt into low spot at end of rows when rototilling beds.

Bought the 55 inch grapple for my l3302 tractor and I'm very pleased with it. I've been moving 8ft pieces of 4 inch pipe for H braces and was very surprised how strong and well it handled it. I've grabbed up to 8 at a time with little effort. So glad I went with them instead of the dealership. This one is way beefier!!

I purchased a 55” Rake grapple and it has exceeded my expectations. I received it about a week after placing my order which was far better than other companies advertised.
