Catawba Extreme Duty Skid Steer Stump Bucket — Built for Digging, Prying, and Root Work

The Catawba Extreme Duty Skid Steer Stump Bucket is built for operators who need a narrow, aggressive digging attachment for roots, small stumps, trenching, fence lines, and tough ground conditions.

Built from 1/2" Grade 50 steel with a 3/4" x 6" cutting edge and replaceable digging teeth, this stump bucket is made to bite into the ground, loosen stubborn material, and help break out roots or small stumps before cleanup.

If the job is mostly grabbing, clamping, and carrying brush or logs, a skid steer root grapple may be the better fit. If the job is moving loose dirt, gravel, or debris, a low profile bucket is the better option.

Questions & answers

Skid Steer Stump Bucket FAQs

What is the Catawba Extreme Duty Stump Bucket used for?
The Catawba Extreme Duty Stump Bucket is used for digging, prying, trenching, removing small stumps, breaking around roots, and working in tough ground conditions.
How is a stump bucket different from a low profile bucket?
A stump bucket is narrower and more aggressive for digging and prying, while a low profile bucket is better for carrying loose material, grading, and general bucket work.
Is a stump bucket the same as a root grapple?
No. A stump bucket is a ground-engaging digging and prying tool, while a root grapple is designed to grab, clamp, lift, and carry brush or debris.
Can this stump bucket be used for trenching?
Yes. The narrow, pointed design makes a stump bucket useful for trenching, digging around roots, and opening ground in targeted areas.
Who should choose a skid steer stump bucket?
Choose a stump bucket when the job involves digging, prying, trenching, or breaking loose roots and small stumps instead of moving loose material.
